POLYUREA POND LINERS
Pond Liners are used primarily to prevent the loss of water from storage ponds and dams. Pond Liners are also used for the containment of waste or harmful chemicals. Mid-Valley has pond liners for sale for a wide variety of applications including small ponds and large ponds.
Mid-Valley can fabricate liners for all sizes of ponds & lakes. These liners include extremely large liners that are several acres in size. Our materials are extremely durable. Our liner materials enable projects where liquid loss is often a major concern, such as many large recreational ponds or lakes, to be lined efficiently & successfully.
Many of our pond liners are guaranteed to withstand the harsh effects of nature. Several of Mid-Valley materials can withstand extreme UV exposures that degrade many lesser liners. Many of our liners can withstand extreme weather conditions such as high heat levels and below freezing conditions. Our lake liners and large recreational pond liners can be installed in almost any environment. For extra protection an extremely puncture resistant geo-textile can be provided as well.
Mid-Valley’s Polyurea Liner is one of the leading manufacturers of Polyurea pond liners in the USA which enables us to offer large discounts and in many cases, warranty guarantees backed by our 10 year experience in the Roofing liner industry. POLYUREA POND LINER MATERIAL SELECTION
Pond liner material selection can often be confusing to the customer with so many options available today. Fortunately, from our past experiences we have been able to narrow down the selection of materials so that we can provide the best value to our customers. Mid-Valley will never try to sell a product that is overkill for your application or select a material for you that won't get the job done right.
We normally recommend a reinforced product for most pond liner applications. These products are often lighter, stronger, much more tear resistant, & less expensive than unreinforced liners. One thing to note is that thickness does not equate to quality, a unreinforced product often needs to be much thicker than a reinforced product to work well. When this extra thickness is factored into the price, a unreinforced product is often more expensive overall.
For water ponds the biggest consideration should be if the liner will be exposed to the sun or not. Sun exposure can often be a problem with the slopes of a pond because in some situations it can be difficult to cover the liner with dirt or other materials.
VF380 on Geo: is normally the best value when the liner is not exposed to u.v. rays. Reinforced VF380 products are very strong and our specially formulated Reinforced Polyurea liners can often last over 20 years buried. Unfortunately, most of the time Reinforced Polyurea can not be guaranteed to last over 10 years exposed to the sun depending on area, so for long term use this product should be buried. Reinforced Polyurea can be quite a bit less expensive than liner materials that last 20 years plus in the sun. We provide thicknesses up to 120 mils with Reinforced Polyurea. We have not seen the value of increasing the thickness above 50 mils since this thickness is more than adequate for almost all liner applications where the liner is not exposed to the sun. Reinforced Polyurea is our product of choice for exposed applications. Our 50 mil & 80 mil Reinforced Polyurea will last over 20 years when exposed to the sun for water applications and also works well with many other fluids. Although more expensive than Reinforced Polyurea, there is no need to worry about the suns rays destroying the liner.
POLYUREA CANAL LINERS
Canal Liners are a new, cost effective way to line canals compared to traditional concrete. Traditional concrete lining can cost as much as 30 times or more compared to the cost of liners. It has been reported that more than 50% of the water in the U.S. has been lost due to seepage which could be prevented by lining canals.
Canal Lining also helps water move quickly to its destination and has several advantages for agricultural applications such as cutting down irrigation time, reducing erosion, weeds ,and of course, saving water.
We can custom fabricate a canal liner into manageable sizes and install them quickly. We also have customers who have installed them themselves with portable hot air welders. We provide many different products for canal lining applications with our VF380 being the most popular.
